Aftermarket & Parts Associate

Job Summary:

The Aftermarket & Parts Associate, reporting to the Service & Warranty Director will perform a variety of customer service duties, marketing, promoting, and advertising duties related to the ordering, receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the EHGNA Aftermarket & Parts department. Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the parts sales and customer service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sells products and/or supports warranty orders and meet the customer’s needs
  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers he/she comes in contact with
  • Maintain proper records / cases for all sales and/or customer transactions that occur
  • Expert in the field regarding our product structure and Bill of Material (BOM) look-ups and part searches
  • Ability to handle customer complaints, researching and proposing alternate suggests for resolution of complaints
  • Constantly evaluate processes/procedures for improvement opportunities
  • Provide service technicians with parts as required
  • Assist Aftermarket & Parts group with marketing concepts
  • Maintains the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the organizations standards and today’s customer needs
  • Assists with showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction
  • Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise documentation as required at a point of sale or order
  • Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description
  • Uses organizational equipment and resources safely and proficiently
  • Document and maintain Aftermarket & Parts processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Diploma in Business or Automotive preferred
  • 3-5 years in some form of parts sales, sales, customer service or inventory control role
  • Strong and consistent attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to interpret customer needs
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
  • Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Creative and innovative team player
  • Intermediate computer skills are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP tools, and part ordering softwares
  • Strong:
    • Communication skills, verbal and written, listening
    • Public speaking ability
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
