Project Manager, Product and Demand Planning

Job Summary:

The Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Scheduling and Operational Planning is responsible for maintaining systems and inputs in support of the Product and Demand Planning processes, along with facilitating Product Planning Review Meetings and Demand Planning Review Meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all inputs to product and demand planning processes are available for review
  • Facilitate Product Plan Review Meetings and Demand Plan Review Meetings, ensuring outputs are available in timely manner
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to encourage growth and evolution of Product Plan Review and Demand Plan Review processes
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Aid in the preparation of presentation materials needs for meetings
  • Working will all parties and department, ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all process stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
  • Providing administrative support as required

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in business or related field of study
  • Proven experience in demand/product management and strategy
  • Five (5) years minimum experience in a demand management role
  • Proven experience with IBP/S&OP implementation
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription and other administrative procedures
  • Experience within forecasting/planning systems, such as DSCP, SAP APO, etc
  • Ability to work on tight deadline
  • Flexible to fast pace environment and can easy adapt as requirements change
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be deadline oriented
  • Strong teamwork, communication and inter-personal skills
